Provisioning users is always a time-consuming task, especially when there are hundreds or thousands to handle. This session reviews the ways to improve that process. In it, you will analyze how to handle bulk user imports, along with how to script the provisioning process using common tools like VBScript and PowerShell. Also in this session’s refresher is a review of the GPOs you’ll need to know that provide stability and consistency for domain objects. You’ll walk through the process of creating, editing, managing, backing up and restoring GPOs. Then you’ll deploy software with GPOs. Finally you’ll look at other needs for GPOs like Fine Grain Password Policies and how these are different than traditional account policies.
