Reading about Security Copilot is one thing. Using it effectively in real-world security operations is something else entirely.

This intensive, hands-on workshop transforms you from Security Copilot novice to confident practitioner through a full day of guided labs, real-world scenarios, and practical exercises you can replicate in your own environment.

You’ll begin with the fundamentals — understanding the interface, crafting effective prompts, and navigating plugins — before progressing to advanced techniques such as building custom promptbooks, conducting multi-step investigations, and designing automated incident response workflows.

Through realistic security scenarios including ransomware investigations, insider threat detection, vulnerability management, and compliance reporting, you’ll practice the skills that make Security Copilot a true force multiplier for SOC teams.

Each module builds on the previous one, and you’ll leave with a library of tested promptbooks, investigation templates, and automation workflows ready for production use.

This workshop is ideal for security analysts, SOC managers, and IT professionals responsible for security operations who want practical, hands-on experience before deploying Security Copilot in their own environment.

You will learn:

  • Build and execute effective Security Copilot prompts for common security workflows including threat hunting, incident investigation, vulnerability analysis, and compliance reporting through guided hands-on exercises.
  • Create custom promptbooks that automate multi-step security operations including evidence collection, timeline analysis, impact assessment, and remediation recommendations across integrated security tools.
  • Design Security Copilot deployment strategies including licensing considerations, user training approaches, prompt engineering standards, and organizational change management.

Attendee Requirements:

  • You must provide your own laptop computer (Windows or Mac) for this hands-on lab.
  • All other requirements will be listed 2 weeks prior to the hands-on lab
