GitHub can be a real pain to manage, especially if your new(er) to it. You want to contribute but it can be frustrating. Understanding repositories, pull requests, merges, Issues, and more can be an exhausting use of your time. In this session, we will try to break down the basics of GitHub and help guide you on your way to creating code, collaborating, and managing your own repositories. We will also show some cool things you can do like creating your GitHub brand and optimizing your settings, that will enable you to start using GitHub even better, faster, and just way cooler!

  • Understand how to manage all the features of your GitHub space and repositories.
