Provisioning users is always a time-consuming task, especially when there are hundreds or thousands to handle. This session reviews the ways to improve that process. In it, we will analyze how to handle bulk User imports, along with and how to script the provisioning process using common tools like VBScript and PowerShell. Also in this session’s refresher is a review of the GPOs you’ll need to know that provide stability and consistency for domain objects. We’ll walk through the process of creating, editing, managing, backing up and restoring of GPOs. Then we will deploy software with GPOs. Finally we will look at other needs for GPOs like Fine Grain Password Policies and how these are different than traditional account policies.
