This three-hour session gives Windows administrators with limited SQL Server experiences all the tools, best practice guidance, and tips/tricks to ensure that SQL Server purrs like a proverbial kitten.

• The major performance bottlenecks between SQL Server and SharePoint Server
• Create and manage SQL Server maintenance tasks
• How to run SQL Server Profiler and Performance Monitor and correctly diagnose and correct database performance problems
• How to hit the ground running by applying T-SQL and Windows PowerShell scripts to SharePoint databases to provide a level of administrative automation and remediation (think of backups, index operations, and so forth)
