Do you have resources in Azure or are you planning on extending or moving your datacenter to Azure? Then you better think about preparing or making sure your resources are governed properly. Thankfully Microsoft has built the Cloud Adaptation Framework.

On top of this, Microsoft built the Azure Landing Zone design with templates. The initial with ARM and now available with Bicep and infrastructure as code.

For a better deployment and code update to your repository there is an open repo on GitHub for the ALZ Bicep code, and something called Bicep Accelerator.

In this session, I will explain Azure Cloud Adoption Framework and Azure Landing Zone repository. You will learn how to use the code and customize it to your liking. You will also learn how to use GitHub Actions with automated pipelines with Pull Requests and Approval processes.

We will also go through the Subscription Vending solution on how to build new Subscriptions into your Landing Zone design. With a fully automated self-service and deployment with change control. It will place any Subscription in the right management group. It will Peer vNet's to a vWan Hub or Hub Spoke network.

You will learn:

  • How to use the ALZ Bicep Accelerator repo with the Azure Cloud Adoption Framework.
  • How to customize and deploy Bicep code with GitHub Actions
  • How to use the Azure Subscription Vending solution to build new Subscriptions with a self-service solution.
