In the summer of 2013, Cisco announced a brand new Cisco CCNA program - which has always been the most sought after certification that Cisco has. The last time the CCNA was updated was in 2008, so this update was long overdue. This new CCNA certification has brought large changes to the program, class, study path and the certification has stepped up a few more steps. When Cisco announced the first CCNA in 1998, it was difficult for the time, but would be considered too simple today. Not so with the new CCNA. It is very relevant for the current world and advanced internetworks. The new course and curriculum will certainly cover more advanced routing and switching technologies, but will also touch on Data Center (the hottest topic this year!), Voice, Wireless, and new WAN technologies. In addition, much more IPv6 topics and hands-on labs will be included in the class and exam.

This three hour session will cover from the beginning, what you need to know in order to create a full study path towards your CCNA and/or recertification. Hands-on labs will be provided for attendees with a laptop, as well as many study tools and other valuable resources will be provided to all attendees. The first 25 pre-registered students will get Todd Lammle’s latest CCNA Study guide!

You will learn:
  • How does the new CCNA compare the older CCNA
  • A complete study path to help you prepare for the new CCNA exam
  • Hands-on labs to help lock in the new information
Study tools, software, and other valuable tools provided by Todd Lammle

HANDS-ON LAB REQUIREMENTS: A Windows 7 or Windows 8 laptop (or VM) with WiFi access. Download the CCENT/CCNA simulator from www.lammlesim.com prior to attending the class. .
