Level: Intermediate Advanced
System Center Orchestrator enables the Windows and non-Windows administrator to create automation solutions that can be leveraged within the datacenter and across the client space. Many Runbook solutions can be quite simple including only ‘out of the box components. Other Runbook solutions may require more advanced design such as complex link logic and PowerShell integration. This session will provide a real world look into the breadth of Runbook design from the most basic examples to more advanced examples. The goal of the session is to enable the attendee to quickly ramp up on not only Orchestrator Runbook design fundamentals, but to also feel comfortable approaching more complex Runbook solutions.
You will learn:
- The Runbook design process end to end, from a very simple solution to a much more complex solution
- How to incorporate more advanced Runbook design into Runbook suctions such as complex logic and PowerShell scripts
- Obtain many tips, tricks, and will understand many "gotchas" that will make the Runbook design process a stress-free process.
