Microsoft, as a security vendor, provides a myriad of products and solutions that help you protect your environment, and optimize your detection and response capabilities through intelligent features and ample automation capabilities.

In this hands-on seminar, Michael will guide you through the world of Microsoft 365 security products, why and when to use them, and how to best deploy these solutions to maximize the security posture of your environment. You will learn why it is important to invest in solutions that extend your capabilities beyond just the protection of your environment, as well as how you can use these solutions to drive your security operations.

We will look at various products and features from the Microsoft 365 Defender suite, including Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Identity, Defender for Cloud apps, Defender for Office 365 and, finally, Azure Active Directory and all its security features. You will not only learn what each of these products are capable of, you’ll also get tips and tricks on how to best deploy them, and how to avoid the most common pitfalls; all in an interactive manner.

Attendee Workstation Requirements:
You must provide your own computer (Windows or Mac) for this hands-on lab workshop with a camera, speakers, a microphone, internet access, and an active Microsoft 365 E5 subscription or activated (valid) trial. For the latter, instructions on how to create a trial will be provided towards the start of the HOL. Online VMs will be provided by the instructor.
