Architecting Microsoft Endpoint Manager to Efficiently Manage Windows 11 Devices

This comprehensive 2-day seminar is full of hands-on labs that are designed to teach you the main components of Configuration Manager and Intune, what they're used for, and how to optimize the design to minimize cost and management of the infrastructure. Guided through real world scenarios by industry experts, you will learn why Microsoft Endpoint Manager continues to dominate the systems management space and how its customers were able to easily transition to a telecommuting workforce at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The ability for an organization to offer Work from Anywhere capability to its staff, without compromising security or data integrity, is critical for the continued operation of every business. Learn how to configure these products to fully support your enterprise devices, whether on-premises, off-premises, in the datacenter, or virtualized in Azure.

In a hybrid world, we need hybrid management of our assets. This is particularly important when it comes to Operating System servicing and imaging. This seminar guides you through the configuration process to handle your on-prem imaging requirements for servers and desktops, and how to maintain them using Software Updates and Delivery Optimization with Intune.

The simple act of shipping end-user devices to a corporate location for configuration, prior to delivery to the end user, can create a complex and expensive process. AutoPilot with Microsoft Intune allows you to assign a device configuration to computers as they leave the distributor, allowing direct-to-employee shipping, simplifying device setup for the user, and ensuring security compliance is met before corporate connections are initiated. Using a hands-on lab, we will explore AutoPilot in detail and examine the options for initial device configuration and ongoing compliance.

Attendee Workstation Requirements:
You must provide your own computer (Windows or Mac) for this hands-on lab seminar with a camera, Internet connection, speakers, and a microphone. Your computer should be running Windows 10 or 11 with Edge Chromium installed.

Émile organizes the Calgary Microsoft User Group, blogs on CheckYourLogs.net, and has presented at several conferences, including Ignite, VeeamOn, TechReady, and MVPDays. He actively volunteers as a member of the Canadian Ski Patrol, providing over 250 hours each year for first aid services and public education at Castle Mountain Resort and in the community.
