This intensive 2-day seminar with hands on labs will give ideas on what you can check in your company, what to add to the next penetration test, and what tricks the bad guys use. The course demonstrates an offensive way to establish defense and the numerous ways to compromise Windows/Linux/Cloud environment followed by the appropriate protection. This course covers Microsoft 365 security features pertaining to various Microsoft 365 subscriptions: Business, E3, E5.

Microsoft 365 proven value. Companies spend a lot of money purchasing and configuring cybersecurity products. Would you like to check that they really work? In this seminar, you will see the causal relationship between cyber-attacks you execute, and defense Microsoft 365 provides.

This course contains 3 modules:

  • I pwn your domain — Compromising and Protecting AD Infrastructure using Microsoft 365 components.
  • Don't pay Ransom — Protect and recover your data from ransomware attacks.
  • Device Protection — Protecting desktop and mobile devices

Practical Labs:
During the course students will create their own Microsoft 365 and have labs which populate their environment with data, then implement the features learned through the course. Lab environment contains Active Directory domain with multiple workstations on Windows 10, Android, and Kali Linux.

  • How to deploy and configure Microsoft Defender for Office 365, Identity, and Endpoints
  • How to simulate attacks that trigger detection
  • How to configure Windows 10 protection from ransomware
  • How to simulate ransomware attack and restore encrypted documents
