Nano Server requires that you embrace a new approach to deploying, configuring, and managing servers and their workloads. Nano Server is the new minimal footprint version of Windows Server 2016. It likely represents the future of the Windows Server operating system. You can run Nano Server with a couple of hundred MB of RAM and disk space. While Nano Server supports a limited number of roles, it doesn't support direct interactive logon. In this session, you'll learn about the steps you need to take to prepare a Nano Server image for deployment, how to perform initial setup, how to configure roles and features, and how to perform ongoing maintenance including applying software updates and managing domain membership.

You will learn:

  • How to configure and deploy Nano Server images
  • How to Update Nano Server
