The cloud is awesome, but it is not magic. In this session you will learn how to protect your data in Azure. You will learn about some built-in solutions like AlwaysOn Availability Groups, as well as some homegrown solutions that come at a much lower price tag. You will also learn some fundamentals about Azure infrastructure that can improve the availability of your application.

  • High Availability (HA)) and Disaster Recovery(DR) options in Azure
  • About underlying Azure infrastructure as it relates to high availability
  • About Azure networking to build DR solutions for SQL Server
